PRODUCTION AREA: : The Farm AUGUSTALI is in Sicily bording the two provinces of Trapani and Palermo in the middle of the Gulf of Castellammare enjoying the picturesque hilly landscape sloping down to the sea. AUGUSTALI is in the most fertile part of the Falconeria forest between Alcamo and Partinico, a land that was so dear to Frederick II of Swabia.
COLOR:Intense ruby red
BOUQUET: Intense red fruits, such as blackberry and cherry, with a slight hint of
capers and an undertone of spices

FLAVOR:An excellent balance of tannins and acidity on the palate; profound
SERVING SUGGESTION:Our Nero D’Avola is suitable with beef, game and any full-flavored cheese.
WINEMAKER’S COMMENTS
This top red from Nero d’Avola grapes 100 % usually aged in oak casks for 18 months followed by 12 months in bottle. Ripe tannins create a lingering finish; the sweet tannins give the wine lenght on the palate with a rich arrayof berry fruit, cinnamon and toast.

WINEMAKING: in red, preserving the real potential of grapes and respecting the best expression of the soil. Fermentation at controlled temperature
AGING In stainless steel tanks; 18 months in oak barrels (30 hl) and one year in bottle.
